Public Reading of the US Constitution

Every year, the Madison Center for Civic Engagement and History partners with the School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences to host a public open mic reading of the US Constitution in recognition of Constitution Week (September 17-23, annually). The public reading of the US Constitution is a direct recreation of how the Constitution was originally spread through the country and made publicly known. This year makes the 239th anniversary of its creation on September 17, 1787.
